Simple Echo builds software that lets a business view and reply to its own WhatsApp conversations from inside its own systems. This page explains how to have data held in that software deleted, and how long it takes.
The conversation belongs to the business you were writing to, not to Simple Echo. We hold it only on that business's behalf.
The fastest route is to ask that business directly to delete your conversation. It can instruct us, and we act on that instruction within 30 days.
If you cannot reach them, write to info@simplecho.co.il with the phone number you messaged from and the name of the business. We will locate the record, notify that business, and delete the data.
Write to info@simplecho.co.il from an address we hold on file, stating whether you want a single conversation removed or your entire dataset removed. On termination of service we delete your data within 30 days without needing a separate request.
We may retain records we are legally required to keep, such as accounting and tax records, and minimal security logs that do not contain message content. These are kept only for as long as the law requires.
Deletion on our systems does not remove the message from the WhatsApp app on either party's phone, or from Meta's own systems. Those are outside our control.
We acknowledge every request within a few business days and complete deletion within 30 days. We confirm in writing when it is done.
